The Bulletin ¹ 3(15), 2000, has been published nowadays. (Chief editor – professor Chumakov A.N., executive secretary – professor Yaroschuk N.Z.).
It is opened by the information that the International Center of registration of periodicals (in Paris ) has given the international index ISSN ¹ 1606-6251 to the Bulletin.
The magazine reminds its readers that from September 1, 2000, one can subscribe for the Bulletin in any post-office in Russia and in other countries. Its subscription index in the Russian press catalogue is 79 643.
The Presidium of the RPhS addresses its colleagues – philosophers of the former Soviet Republics, informing them about the activity of the society and inviting them to take part in this activity and to restore the broken creative contacts.
There are new columns in this number: “Towards the III Allrussian Philosophical congress” and “On the way to the XXI World Philosophical congress”, where the information is published concerning the meetings of the committees of the III Allrussian Philosophical congress ( Kaluga, 22.09.2000) and of the council of heads of the International Federation of the Philosophical societies of the world (Istanbul, Turkey, 15-16.09.2000).
The magazine continues to publish materials of the II Allrussian Philosophical congress “The XXI Century: the future of Russia in philosophical dimension”, particularly< the plenary report of prof. Kashperski V.I. (Ekaterinburg) “Technology between ontology and axiology. From the power discourse to the new worldview of the XXI century.”
Under the heading “Information from the branches of the RPhS” it is said about the Allrussian scientific-practical conference “Philosophy of the teaching philosophy” (21-23.09.2000, Kaluga) and about the work of the family club “The School of Socrates” on the base of the philosophical chair of the Moscow state pedagogical University.
In the column “The Two-way communication”(The readers’ opinion on the Bulletin) one can find the article of the head of Kusbass branch of the RPhS prof. Krasikov V.I. “The Bulletin of the RPhS: communication and consolidation”.
Under the heading “Current events and commentaries” there are informations on the recreation of the philosophical chair in the Russian Academy of state service; on the VII conference of the International society of studying European ideas (ISSEI) (14-18.08.2000, Norway); on the International scientific conference “Tectology in the XXI century”, organized by the International Institute of A.Bogdanov and on the 13-th International book fair in Moscow (6-11.09.2000).
In this number there is published a well-grounded suggestion of prof. A.I.Yakovlev to organize a Russian philosophical library and to collect there private libraries, scientific archives, diaries and unpublished works of the departed philosophers.
Under the heading “Discussion on the urgent problems” in the articles of Ph.d. Kondrashin I.I. and prof. Tazhurizina Z.A. the discussion is continued on the problem of correlation of religion and philosophy, religion and atheism ( in connection with the teaching of philosophy in the higher school).
Assistant-prof. Balashov Z.E. grounded the practical role of philosophy and informs the readers on the activity of the Center of practical philosophy in Moscow.

The magazine publishes reviews and annotations, informations about new books in philosophy, about the defense of dissertations on philosophy in the third quarter of the year.
There is one more column in the Bulletin: “A Page of a young philosopher” where it is said that a prize of prestige –“A World Academic Star” of 2000 is awarded to a young Russian philosopher A.B.Yukhvid.
Who can become a member of the society? The Bulletin answers the question: those who has paid the annual fee and whose name is inserted in the list of the members of the philosophical society in the Bulletins N 3 and 4 annually.
